Hippoglossus stenolepis
Pacific Halibut yields sweet tasting, flaky white flllets, and is the largest of all the flatfish. For us, nothing is better than sharing a delicious meal enhanced by ingredients harvested with future generations in mind. Enjoy!
Sustainably Sourced
Most Alaskan Halibut are caught using a bottom longline. This method involves a series of hooks strung along a fishing line with weights attached so that it sinks to the seafloor once deployed from the fishing vessel. This method is relatively selective for Halibut resulting in minimal bycatch of other species.
