Chesapeake Golds are cultivated on Hooper’s Island in Chesapeake Bay. Grown in waters with mid salinity, these oysters gain a sweetness and crisp texture unlike any other oyster. The tasting notes vary from Jerusalem artichoke to creamed corn, to even a not-quite ripe banana. All agree it’s a unique experience in the power of “merroir”, or the influence of location on an oyster.

Shellfish can stay fresh for up to 7 days when treated with love. Upon arrival, remove your oysters from the box, gently place in a bowl, cover them with a wet a towel, and store in your fridge.
