These beautifully delicious fish are individually caught in the Pacific Northwest by fisherman using a jack pole and circle hook. This fishing method yields absolutely no incidental catch. Albacore tuna also reproduces at a much younger age than the larger yellowfin & bluefin tunas, which allows their populations to better withstand commercial fishing pressures.
